This position supports daily operations in a long-term care residence, focusing on repairs and inspections for resident care equipment. You'll engage in a mix of semi-skilled maintenance, assisting with construction projects and upholding community standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Repair defective equipment impacting resident care
• Regulate and repair plumbing fixtures and drainage
• Conduct routine lighting inspections and repairs
• Assist in maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems
• Perform minor carpentry tasks when needed

Requirements:
• One to two years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with WHMIS safety protocols
• Grade 12 Diploma with technical training
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
