Enhance outcomes for children and families as a Practice Specialist in Child Intervention within Alberta's North Region. This full-time position focuses on leadership, mentorship, and quality assurance in child services.
The Ministry of Children and Family Services seeks an innovative leader for a full time role in child intervention. In this position, you will provide critical coaching and support to strengthen staff practices while promoting culturally responsive methods. Your expertise will help improve child intervention practices, manage complex casework, and foster community relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in child intervention
• Provide coaching and mentorship to enhance staff capability
• Support complex cases via consultation and hands-on training
• Integrate trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address practice trends
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Child Intervention
• Bachelor of Social Work preferred or equivalent
• Knowledge of intervention frameworks and legislation
• Proven coaching and facilitation skills
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a vehicle
