About the Role
We're looking for someone who's chronically online, always has a video idea, and knows what makes people stop scrolling.

Bells of Steel makes home gym equipment — power racks, barbells, kettlebells, cable machines, and more. Founded in 2010, now 80+ people strong with facilities in Calgary, Toronto, Indianapolis, and Melbourne. Proudly Canadian, a little irreverent, very online.

We're hiring a Social Media Manager & Content Creator to keep us showing up in the feed — quick, funny, on-trend, and unmistakably us.

Chronically online and genuinely into social media, not just doing it as a job

Into fitness — lifting, bodybuilding, sports, or just generally active

Hands-on experience using fitness equipment

What You'll Do

Shoot and edit short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) — quickly and often

Pitch content ideas and hooks regularly

Track trends and adapt them to our brand

Show up on camera when needed

Engage with our community online

Help turn organic content into ad creative with our ads team

Organic social: 3–5 posts/week

Paid ad creative: 2–4 pieces/week, with our ads team

Bonus Skills

Reading and acting on analytics

Technical/editing skill, especially DaVinci Resolve experience — that's our main editing tool, and you'll be learning our house editing style, so this helps but isn't the deciding factor

Paid social platform experience (nice to have — we have an ads team)

Content calendar/scheduling tools (we'll train you)

The schedule & location

This is an in-person role based in our Calgary location, where the core hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm

The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 60,000 CAD per year(Calgary)
