Join Chippewas of the Thames First Nation as an Outreach Worker focused on Harm Reduction for youth. This community-based role emphasizes education and cultural incorporation in harm reduction strategies.

As an Outreach Worker in Harm Reduction at the Chippewa Health Centre, you will enhance community health by providing outreach services. You will incorporate the First Nations Mental Wellness Continuum Framework and advocate for individuals affected by drug use and homelessness. The job requires flexible schedule and travel within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide materials and resources for harm reduction
• Offer educational presentations on health issues
• Transport and dispose of bio-hazardous materials safely




• Support individuals with mental health and addiction challenges
• Monitor outreach statistics to develop effective strategies

Requirements:
• Education in the related field of Human Services
• Experience working with marginalized populations
• Knowledge of Harm Reduction strategies and principles
• Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
