Your work will include drafting necessary reports, advising decision-makers, and engaging with the public on various development matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer land development control
- Complete thorough reviews of subdivision applications
- Advise officials on planning issues and strategies
- Draft development bylaw amendments for Council consideration
- Conduct field reviews and assist developers with inquiries Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in planning, geography, or related field
- Background in municipal planning preferred
- Active pursuit of Alberta Professional Planners Institute membership
- Solid analytical and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and public engagement skills Engage actively in planning initiatives that contribute to the quality of life in Vulcan County.
