About The Position
We are seeking a passionate, caring, and dedicated Montessori Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and respectful learning environment that supports the development, independence, confidence, and success of children approximately 2.3 to 6 years of age.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an educator who is caring, dependable, enthusiastic, and committed to creating a positive Montessori learning experience. The ideal candidate will value children's individuality, encourage independence, and contribute positively to a collaborative classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and monitor children’s developmental progress and individual needs.

Prepare and maintain accurate progress reports and monthly lesson plans.

Establish and maintain a positive Montessori classroom culture that reflects Montessori principles and practices.

Prepare, organize, and maintain Montessori materials and classroom environments.

Maintain and implement all units of study in accordance with classroom and program expectations.

Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate daily activities that support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development.





Foster children’s independence, self-esteem, confidence, and sense of accomplishment.

Provide a warm, patient, and respectful approach when supporting children.

Follow all applicable Ontario Ministry of Education requirements, regulations, and guidelines.

Maintain a protected, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.

Communicate professionally and effectively with children, families, and team members.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent and high-quality care and education.

Qualifications & Requirements
Strong organizational skills, professionalism, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with children.

AMI or MACTE-accredited Montessori training diploma OR Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma.

Minimum 2 Years Of Childcare Experience Is An Asset.

Familiarity with Montessori Pre-Casa and Casa materials, methods, and practices.

Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work patiently and enthusiastically with children between 2.3 and 6 years of age.

Ability to follow Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines and childcare regulations.

Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, issued within the last 6 months.

Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.

Up-to-date immunizations as required for working in a childcare setting.

Fluency In English Is Required.
