As a Family Support Specialist, your role is to facilitate growth in family relationships and support families navigating challenges. You will implement the Teaching-Family Model, offering resources in parenting, budgeting, and child development. Your responsibilities will include regular family visits and on-call support, primarily in Calgary and Airdrie, with occasional travel to Beiseker and Crossfield.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide ongoing in-home family support
• Enhance family functioning through targeted visits




• Assist families with parenting and advocacy skills
• Maintain family files and report on progress
• Consult with community services for timely resource access

Requirements:
• Relevant Diploma or Degree preferred
• Flexibility for evenings and weekends
• Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license
• Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
• Ability to work full-time in Canada
