PCLC seeks a junior to mid-level lawyer for a 10-month contract, assisting clients with Tenant Duty Counsel services and representation in housing disputes. Ideal candidates will have strong legal skills, work effectively in a team, and be dedicated to supporting vulnerable members of the community in a fast-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver legal representation for housing issues and tenants
• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations
• Participate in community outreach and education
• Advocate for systemic reform efforts
• Maintain meticulous case files and records

Requirements:
• Active membership in the Law Society of Ontario
• Proven experience with Landlord and Tenant Board cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capacity to handle heavy caseload and deadlines
• COVID-19 vaccination required or exemption process needed
