Make a meaningful impact as a Mental Health Support Worker in our Long Term Care program. Work with an interdisciplinary team to provide support for residents with complex mental health needs.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Resident Care Manager, Social Worker, and Occupational Therapist to deliver targeted behavior and symptom support for residents aged 18 and older. Employing a strengths-based approach, you will foster residents' well-being, aiding their psycho-social recovery and community reintegration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for mental health residents
• Provide behavior and symptom support to residents 18+
• Foster well-being and social integration of residents




• Maintain a resident-centered workplace during care
• Report unsafe activities or harmful behaviors promptly

Requirements:
• Diploma/Certificate in Community/Mental Health or related field
• Strong rapport-building skills in support of residents
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing compassionate care
• Experience in mental health is an asset
