Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a dedicated Community Mental Health Worker in Winkler to provide psychosocial support to individuals facing mental health challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering transformative care.

This permanent position focuses on client empowerment through comprehensive assessments and therapeutic interventions. You will play a key role in facilitating recovery for clients suffering from severe mental health disorders, applying evidence-based approaches in a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed psychosocial assessments for client needs
• Design and implement therapeutic interventions based on recovery principles
• Support individuals through crisis intervention and relapse prevention




• Manage service planning and coordinate with community resources
• Promote social justice and client independence in recovery efforts

Requirements:
• Minimum of two years in supervised counseling roles
• Degree in Health-Related Social Sciences or equivalent
• Active qualified registration and ASIST certification
• Proven expertise in mental health assessment and community services
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
