This full time role involves reporting directly to the Vice-President, Research and Innovation. You will advise on legal issues related to commercialization and provide necessary support to researchers and staff. Your contributions will help shape the university’s research environment while ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on intellectual property and commercialization matters
• Assist in contract compliance and reporting requirements




• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to resolve issues
• Develop and implement research policies and procedures
• Stay informed on relevant legal and regulatory changes

Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree
• Minimum two years practicing law
• Experience with contracts and agreements
• Strong communication skills and legal judgment
• Ability to foster effective working relationships
