General Motors seeks an enthusiastic intern to join its Agile Scrum team, focusing on Exterior and Interior Lighting software for both electric and internal combustion engine vehicles. You will engage in software development, testing methodologies, and collaborate with a diverse team to create next-generation lighting features that enhance safety and visibility in GM vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on implementing lighting features using Agile methodologies
• Design and integrate complex embedded systems in C
• Develop unit tests and execute thorough software testing
• Conduct automated tests in simulation and hardware-in-loop
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and teamwork initiatives
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Eligible for full time hours, 40 hours a week
• Must be enrolled in a co-op program in Canada
• Strong skills in embedded C and Python preferred
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols a plus
