Roles & Responsibilities
Determine countertop layouts and installation procedures by reviewing plans, drawings and site requirements.
Measure and mark installation guidelines to ensure accurate placement.
Safely transport stone countertops and other valuable materials to job sites.
Prepare and maintain materials while using specialized hand and power tools to complete installations.
Install countertops and surfaces while protecting client property, meeting deadlines and maintaining clear, professional communication.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum two years of countertop installation or directly related installation experience required.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and specialized installation equipment required.
Valid driver’s licence with no major violations within the past five years and access to a vehicle required.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, follow written and verbal instructions, solve on-site problems and work collaboratively required.
Availability to work eight- to 10-hour shifts beginning at 7:00 a.m., including occasional Saturdays, required.
Ability to work safely in high-noise environments and wear available hearing protection required.
