The salary range for this position is CAD $52.41/Hr. - CAD $65.39/Hr.

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight of the day-to-day operations of our Sonography team!

Reporting to the Manager or Site Coordinator, you will lead a team of 16–24 FTEs and play a key role in supporting staff, coordinating daily operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe and efficient patient care. In this role, you will oversee staffing and scheduling, provide technical guidance, support recruitment and performance management, and coach, mentor and orient team members. You will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, policy and procedure development, workplace safety, equipment and operational planning, and the implementation of new practices and technologies. As a working supervisor, you will remain connected to clinical practice and perform technical procedures as required. What You Bring
Education, Training, and Experience

Graduate of a recognized training program in Medical Diagnostic Sonography and certified with Sonography Canada or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or be certified with Sonography Canada and have passed the Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA).

A minimum of four (4) years' recent, related experience, including one (1) year supervisory and leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated knowledge of the standards of practice and guidelines for Medical Imaging practitioners established by the CAMRT and/or other relevant national professional associations.

Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice.

Demonstrated knowledge of organization policies, procedures and standards of care, including practice of safe work procedures with modality equipment.

Demonstrated knowledge of research process and methodology.

Demonstrated knowledge of PACS/Radiology Information Systems, i.e. digital imaging, image archiving and retrieval.

Demonstrated ability to function as an effective leader, motivator, facilitator and team member.
