This full time role emphasizes cultural connection and support within Bonaventure Support Services. You will share Indigenous traditions while working closely with families and the Inclusion Team, ensuring those you support can access community activities and develop friendships. By designing inclusive programs, you will help promote cultural awareness and understanding among participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist individuals in engaging with community opportunities
• Work collaboratively with families and community partners
• Encourage involvement of family and friends for support




• Share Indigenous cultural practices as needed
• Design culturally inclusive activities for all abilities
Requirements:
• Familiarity with Indigenous culture and its practices
• Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities
• Ability to assist as per person-centred plans
• Commitment to confidentiality and respect
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
