Bentley School is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school located in a supportive rural community. Assignment:
Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
Courseload to include grades 7-9 Language Arts and Social Studies
Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year.
Qualifications:
Passion for teaching junior high school
Experience teaching junior high Language Arts and Social Studies
Ability to demonstrate a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
Experience with innovative instructional practices and a growth mindset
Ability to contribute to a collaborative, student-focused junior high school team
Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning experience
Ability to support diverse learners and adapt instruction to meet a variety of student needs
Commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Commitment to supporting student growth, both academically and socially
Passion for education and a commitment to student success
Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students
Commitment to collaboration with colleagues, staff, and administration
Strong planning and organizational skills
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning workplace and be a positive team member
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
