Lead health and safety efforts at TNDC as an HSE Coordinator in Dease Lake, BC. This full time, fly-in/fly-out role focuses on environmental responsibility and workplace safety.
In this key position, you will drive safety initiatives and ensure compliance with the BC Mine Act. Collaborating closely with project teams and Indigenous communities will be vital. As an empowering mentor, you will promote a strong culture of safety and accountability while managing safety inspections and investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Project Manager to enhance safety culture
• Monitor adherence to the HSE Management System
• Conduct safety training sessions to ensure readiness
• Investigate and report on safety incidents and hazards
• Update and manage safety documentation and training records
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of relevant safety experience
• Possess CHSC, CRST, or other safety certifications
• Expertise in health and safety program implementation
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Valid First Aid and WHMIS certifications required
