Shannex is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Recreation Coordinator for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will collaborate with residents and families to assess their engagement in meaningful activities, focusing on the six dimensions of wellness: Physical, Social, Intellectual, Vocational, Emotional, and Spiritual. You will assist residents in achieving their wellness goals while employing your expertise in recreation programming and planning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess residents’ engagement in wellness activities
• Develop strategies for enhancing residents' goals




• Organize creative arts-based activities such as music therapy
• Foster meaningful connections within the community
• Ensure participation in health and wellness initiatives

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in recreation or related discipline
• Two years of experience in seniors’ recreation programming
• Robust communication and computer skills
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
• G Driver’s License with a clean abstract
