THE ROLE

We are hiring Warehouse Associates for our Vaughan distribution centre.

DAY SHIFT : 7 AM - 4PM

This is a hands-on role covering the core of our warehouse operation: picking and packing customer orders, counting and verifying inventory, and supporting receiving and shipping as the day requires. You'll be trained across all of it, so no two days look quite the same.

A lot of what we handle is ceramics, glassware, and décor — fragile, and often the only one of its kind on the shelf. Accuracy and careful handling matter here more than raw speed. If you're someone who'd rather get it right than get it done fast, you'll do well with us.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Order Picking & Packing

- Pick customer orders accurately from pick lists using RF scanners
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and condition before packing
- Pack orders securely for shipment, with appropriate protection for fragile goods
- Label, stage, and prepare completed orders for shipping
- Flag shortages, damages, or discrepancies rather than working around them

Cycle Counting & Inventory

- Perform scheduled cycle counts and spot counts across assigned zones
- Verify physical stock against system quantities and record results accurately
- Investigate and report count variances, and help identify the cause
- Support periodic full inventory counts
- Help keep bin locations, labels, and stock organization accurate and current

General Warehouse Support

- Assist with receiving: unload inbound shipments, verify against paperwork, and stage for put-away




- Replenish pick locations from reserve stock
- Support shipping with staging, wrapping, and loading
- Keep aisles, work areas, and packing stations clean, clear, and protected
- Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards immediately
- Support other warehouse tasks as needed during peak periods

REQUIREMENTS

Essential

- Able to read and work from pick lists, labels, and shipping paperwork
- Comfortable with numbers and counting accurately under time pressure
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for a full shift
- Reliable attendance and punctuality — shifts depend on a full crew
- Careful hands. Much of our product is fragile and can't be replaced from a nearby bin
- Willing to learn RF scanners and our warehouse system; we'll train you
- Safety-focused, with a habit of speaking up when something isn't right
- Able to work as part of a team and take direction well

Desirable

- Previous warehouse, distribution, retail stockroom, or inventory experience
- Experience with RF scanners or a warehouse management system
- Cycle counting or inventory control experience
- Forklift, reach truck, or walkie certification — or interest in getting certified
- Experience handling fragile or high-value goods
- Experience in a seasonal or peak-driven environment

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
