Fuzion Flooring – Warehouse Associate, Samples (FULL TIME)

Together, we collaborate with like-minded people and pursue bold ideas that elevate the flooring experience The Warehouse Associate (Samples) plays an essential role in keeping daily warehouse operations running smoothly. This hands-on position is responsible for accurately picking and packing samples, safely moving inventory, and maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.

Success in this fast-paced role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to teamwork and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and related systems.
- Ensure customer and internal orders are picked, processed, and completed accurately and on time.
- Locate and gather the correct products from warehouse shelves, bins, and storage areas using pick lists.
- Operate handheld RF scanners to verify item numbers, quantities, and storage locations.
- Select appropriate boxes, crates, envelopes, and protective packaging materials to ensure products are securely packaged and protected during transit.
- Seal packages using tape guns, strapping tools,



or other appropriate equipment; weigh shipments and accurately record package details.
- Apply correct shipping labels, barcodes, identifiers, and destination information to completed packages.
- Verify orders, packing slips, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and deliveries for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly labelled warehouse and storage areas.
- Safely operate and ensure the proper use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, RF scanners, and other material-handling equipment.
- Report incidents, safety hazards, damaged products, inventory discrepancies, and operational concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow and promote workplace health and safety standards in accordance with applicable Ontario regulations and company policies.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and internal departments.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced warehouse environment.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or amended from time to time to support efficient company operations.

Knowledge & Skills Required

- Minimum 2 years of experience working in warehousing and distribution




- Forklift license is a strong asset
- High school diploma
- Team oriented with exceptional collaboration skills
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
