Montague
The Warehouse Clerk supports production, warehousing, and logistics operations by managing shipping, receiving, labeling, and documentation activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials and products are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Working closely with production, quality, and logistics teams, the Warehouse Clerk helps maintain accurate records, support smooth workflow, and contribute to the overall efficiency of plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and set up production runs using the Path system in coordination with production requirements.
- Create pallet labels, case labels, and other required labels for production or shipment.
- Complete production-related reports, including: Palletizing Report (Quality Form #10.1), Freezer Release Report (Quality Form #10.2), Commingle Form (Quality Form #10.3)
- Prepare and organize additional documentation as needed, including forms for discarded products, data collection, work-in-progress (WIP), and carryover.
- Oversee the shipping and receiving of dry goods, packaging, and ingredient materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Complete quality control forms as required to support compliance and documentation standards.
- Assist with inventory organization and movement to support production and storage requirements.
- Provide backup support to the Inventory and Costing Clerk for costing reports and related documentation.
- Provide backup support to the Cold Storage team for shipping and receiving activities as needed.
- Support additional administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth warehouse and production operations.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or production support, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
- High school diploma required; additional training in warehousing, logistics, or production operations is an asset.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inventory handling.
- Ability to operate within warehouse and production systems, including label creation and reporting tools.
- Basic understanding of quality control documentation and production reporting requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across production, quality, and logistics teams.
- Ability to lift and move materials and products as required.
- Experience with quality documentation, forklift or pallet jack operation, or food processing environments is considered an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00 per hour
