Job Summary

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Worker, where your energy and precision will drive our distribution operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes. Your mechanical aptitude and experience with warehouse management systems will help maintain a safe, organized, and productive environment.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Perform accurate order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders efficiently and correctly.
- Manage shipping and receiving activities by inspecting incoming shipments, verifying documentation, and preparing outgoing freight.
- Utilize warehouse management systems such as AS400 to track inventory levels, update stock records, and ensure data accuracy.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols; assist with load & unload operations for various types of cargo.




- Maintain organization of warehouse storage areas to optimize space utilization and facilitate quick access to items.
- Support manufacturing or construction-related activities as needed by providing mechanical knowledge or operating specialized heavy equipment.

Qualifications

- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes.
- Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with reach trucks, order pickers, cranes, or other heavy equipment is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing or construction environments is a plus.
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and inventory management systems such as AS400.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physically fit to handle demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Prior experience with order fulfillment, packaging, and load & unload operations preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive communication skills to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
