In this accounting position, you will assist with the entire cycle of accounting for DAK Capital and its subsidiaries. Responsibilities include posting journal entries, preparing month-end working papers, and entering accounts payable invoices. You'll also manage monthly GST returns and support quarterly consolidations, fostering a robust team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Post journal entries and prepare general ledger reconciliations
• Enter accounts payable invoices for accuracy
• Input monthly investment statements and prepare reconciliations
• Assist with monthly GST return filings
• Support quarterly and year-end consolidation schedules
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting required
• 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred
• CPA designation considered an asset
• Proficient in Excel, QuickBooks, Caseware
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
