RWDI is seeking a Stewardship Coordinator to join the Stewardship/GHG/CSR Delivery team in our Calgary office.
Department Stewardship to Sustainability & GHG Employment Type Permanent - Full Time Location Calgary, AB Workplace type Onsite Compensation CA$45,400 - CA$60,000 / year Reporting To George Jaikaran
Key Responsibilities
The Role Includes But Is Not Limited To
Day-to-day execution of green accounting processes for a variety of high-profile clients in North America
Ability to maintain attention to detail while retaining focus on client needs and the bigger picture
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships; meet and exceed client expectations, report milestones
Responsible for handling specific client Environmental Stewardship Management Systems from planning & forecast estimates to compliance reporting across all provincial regulatory territories
Carry out ongoing program assessment plans and support peer client site audit work
Address all regulatory authority reporting, enquiry and 3rd party audit requests
Ensure Quality Assurances are completed and documented according to company standards and client scope
Travel to client sites required to conduct site assessments and second party audits
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We are currently accepting applications from Accountants/Analysts with the following qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in business processes and accounting responsibilities
A minimum of an Undergraduate Business / Accounting degree or Diploma or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a fast-paced team and environment
Results oriented with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while successfully meeting schedules; balancing unplanned client requests
Ability to prepare detailed working papers in an accurate, complete and timely manner
An aptitude for practical problem solving
Desire and ability to work in and contribute to technical delivery teams
Excellent team collaboration skills and experience
Candidates Should Also Possess
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced skills in MS Excel and knowledge of MS Access an asset
Execute & coordinate assessment and audit processes – both systems and process
Proactive and self-directed individual with strong organizational skills particularly time management and work planning
Ability to understand the impact on client operations and financials
Enrollment in CPA program would be an asset
