Learn about legislative requirements, mostly Ontario, with most provinces included
Assist stores with implementing occupational health and safety programs
Build and compile occupational health and safety program content across the business
Work directly with more than 120 Giant Tiger stores across Ontario
Help Store Owner/Managers navigate the Health & Safety Store Excellence Program from application through completion
Process and track applications
Maintain information in the internal portal
Provide responsive support to stores throughout the process
Requirements Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Health and Safety or Human Resource program
Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Desire to conduct clerical and administrative tasks
Patience when performing repetitive tasks, ensuring consistent quality
Computer skills with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Valuable communication skills
Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety




Legally authorized to work in Canada and maintain authorization for the duration of employment

Core Competencies Demonstrates knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, particularly in Ontario, while effectively supporting store operations and program implementation. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of maintaining accurate records and providing responsive communication.
