Support impactful financial education initiatives as the Dollars and Sense Program Coordinator at YWCA Hamilton. Drive community outreach and workshop facilitation to empower underrepresented populations.
In this role, you will work 37.5 hours weekly, engaging with low-income women and gender-diverse groups. Your focus will be on facilitating training sessions on financial literacy topics, such as money management and fraud prevention, while overseeing all aspects of programming execution and participant engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement financial literacy workshops under the Dollars and Sense initiative
• Conduct outreach via presentations and community events
• Coordinate logistics for income tax clinics, including volunteers
• Develop marketing materials and promote programming
• Maintain accurate participant records and data collection
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or experience
• Proven ability to facilitate educational sessions
• Familiarity with financial literacy subjects
• Robust interpersonal skills and tech proficiency
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
