Lead the Maintenance department at Tillsonburg Retirement Residence in Ontario. This role focuses on routine maintenance, repairs, and a commitment to a person-centered approach within the facility.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations in accordance with relevant codes. This includes executing repairs, managing ongoing maintenance requirements, and ensuring high safety standards. Effective scheduling and supervising of in-house work are critical, along with monitoring specialized contracts for electrical and plumbing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of the Maintenance department
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs as directed
• Schedule and supervise outside maintenance work




• Conduct regular rounds for life safety checks
• Implement quality improvement measures

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred
• Two years of managerial experience required
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills
• Clear vulnerable sector screen and recent TB test
