Greetcustomers, answer their questions, help them locate items,and offer advice or recommendations.

Use scanners,scales, cash registers, and other electronic devices.

Balance thecash register and generate reports for credit and debitsales.

Accept payments, ensure all prices and quantities arecorrect, and demonstrate receipts for each customer.

Handlingreturns and exchanges, handling complaints.

Wrap or wrappurchased items to ensure secure transportation.

Follow all storeprocedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase ofspecific items, such as alcohol or tobacco.

Maintain a safeand clean work environment by following procedures, rules andregulations. Contribute to team effort by achieving relevantresults as needed.

Provide a positive customerexperience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.

Record sales onthe cash register by scanning items, itemizing, and totalingcustomer purchases.

Solve customer problems andanswer questions.

Iterate and aggregatepurchases by recording prices, departments, taxable andnon-taxable items; and operatethe cash register.





Enter pricechanges by referring to price lists and special salesbulletins.

Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver’slicense numbers; and operate the credit card authorizationsystem.

Weigh the safe by counting money at the start and end of ashift.

Provide pricing information by answering questions.

Maintain cashoperations by following policies and procedures and reportingnecessary changes.

Requirements

High schooldiploma or equivalent.

Customer service or checkoutexperience.

The ability to handle transactions with precision andaccountability.

High energy with strongcustomer service skills.

Basic math and computerskills.

The ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and work withother team members in a fast-paced environment to deliverimpeccable service.

Attention to detail. Helpfuland polite approach to complaint handling.

Required Years of Experience: 1 year to 2years experience in Cashiers or in related field.

Salary: $13.00 - $18.25 per hour
