At Sidney-by-the-Sea, we are looking for a dedicated Health Care Assistant who is passionate about improving residents' quality of life. In this role, you'll provide essential support with personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility while fostering a safe and respectful environment. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, your contributions will not only meet residents' needs but also promote their autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Aid residents with grooming, bathing, and personal care
• Encourage independence in eating and hydration
• Facilitate protected mobility and transfers for residents




• Participate in continence management and ostomy care
• Record care observations and assist in care planning

Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Health Care Assistant program
• Registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
• Proficiency in operating healthcare technology
• Strong communication skills with residents and families
• Ability to manage workload effectively
