The Township of Oro-Medonte is hiring a Parks and Facilities Labourer for an 8-month contract. Contribute to maintaining community facilities while ensuring public safety and cleanliness.

In this role, you will support the Parks & Facilities Supervisor by handling custodial tasks and general maintenance at various facilities, particularly the Township Arena. As a valuable member of the community services team, you will perform essential functions that enhance the cleanliness and safety of public spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of facilities
• Collect and dispose of all waste materials
• Transparent snow and apply salt to walkways
• Prepare meeting rooms for community events

Requirements:
• Minimum high school diploma with relevant experience
• Valid Ontario Class 'G' license required
• Knowledge of applicable safety legislation
• Physical ability to lift and climb ladders as necessary
