Join the Canucks Autism Network as a Support Worker in Kamloops, working with autistic children in inclusive sports programs. Facilitate engaging experiences and promote individual growth through various activities.

This role involves supporting autistic children during core programs like Multisport, Swim, and Skate, as well as specialized sessions such as Gymnastics and Hockey. You will provide individualized support, ensuring participants feel valued and respected. Collaboration with team members is essential to create a safe setting and encourage meaningful engagement for all.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create inclusive and welcoming environments for participants
• Adapt activities to meet diverse participation needs




• Foster individual skill development and confidence
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members effectively
• Provide respectful assistance with personal care needs

Requirements:
• Minimum age of 16 years
• Current Criminal Record Check required
• Availability for evenings and weekends
• Ability to support skating or swimming participants as needed
• Understanding of autism and neurodiversity
