The Village of Lumby seeks an experienced Utility/Equipment Operator for its Public Works Department. This position focuses on maintaining and operating the water treatment system, sewer collection systems, and storm drains. You will also perform truck driving tasks and snowplow operations as needed under the Public Works Working Foreman’s supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain water and sewer distribution systems
• Handle various mobile heavy and small equipment
• Ensure peak operation of storm sewer collection systems




• Perform duties of a truck driver, including snowplowing
• Carry out regular testing and maintenance routines

Requirements:
• Five years in municipal works with specific water/sewer experience
• Valid EOCP Level 1 certifications in Water and Wastewater
• Class 5 Drivers License with air endorsement
• Proven ability to operate heavy equipment
• Completed Grade 12 education or equivalent
