Be a vital part of the Macaulay Centres team as a Part Time Caretaker at Jane St. Child Care Centre in Toronto. Ensure a clean and secure environment for children and families daily.

This permanent part-time position involves working 5.5 hours each day from 4pm to 10pm. You will be responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards and timely maintenance of the centre and its surrounding areas, ensuring safety and welfare for all who enter. Your role will also include performing minor repairs and managing supplies efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness in and around the Child Care Centre
• Carry out minor repairs on buildings and equipment
• Ensure the playgrounds are clean and safe for children
• Follow seasonal maintenance schedules thoroughly
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies securely

Requirements:
• Experience in general maintenance and minor repairs
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• WHMIS Certification required
• Ability to lift heavy objects over 20lbs
• Strong time management and communication skills
