Take a key role in geriatric care with AgeCare as the Assistant Director of Care. Help enhance resident well-being through effective management and compliance in a long-term care setting.
As the Assistant Director of Care, you will work with senior management, directing resident care activities and ensuring all policies are upheld. Your role will involve collaborating with the Registered Staff team and the RAI-MDS Coordinator to ensure accurate care documentation and timely audits of care plans, reflecting residents' needs accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage resident care activities following approved procedures
• Conduct staff onboarding and health safety initiatives
• Audit care plans quarterly for compliance
• Collaborate with staff to address resident concerns
• Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
Requirements:
• Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term nursing
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Familiarity with relevant provincial and federal regulations
• Advanced studies in nursing administration preferred
• Commitment to enhancing resident care quality
