Role Description The Welder role at DYMARK Industries Inc. is a full-time, in office position located in Saskatoon, SK. In this role, the Welder will perform various welding tasks on structural steel and miscellaneous metals, including reading and interpreting blueprints, layouts, and welding procedures. Daily responsibilities include setting up welding equipment, preparing materials, performing welds to specification, and inspecting completed work for quality and safety compliance as well as help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
The position may involve supporting onsite installations,
participating in equipment and tool maintenance, and following all company and regulatory safety standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Welding skills, including experience working with structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
- Candidates should possess SMAW welding skills, with the ability to follow appropriate procedures and safety standards.
- Candidates that possess MIG Welding skills and be able to complete high-quality welds in various positions would be considered an asset to assist in our shop facility if needed.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials relevant to structural steel work, including material properties and proper handling.
- Relevant trade certification or welding tickets (CWB, AWP, Fall Arrest etc.) are an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Strong focus on occupational health and safety, including use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing, and working in various environments.
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication, industrial or construction settings is preferred.
