Job Summary

We are looking for an entry level Welder/Fabricator (a year or so of experience) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some TIG welding experience, be mechanically inclined and have a desire for learning new things. Eventually this role will consist of welding, running the CNC Laser Cutter, de-burring parts and running the CNC Brake Press.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics or drawings to determine what operations need to be carried out.
- Operate CNC Brake Press
- Operate CNC Laser cutter
- Weld with MIG and TIG Welder
- Assemble finished parts and components
- Measure materials with calipers, micrometers and other precision tools to ensure proper dimensions.
- Help with shop improvements like painting walls or fixing things around the shop




- Follow safety protocols during all fabrication and welding activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to manufacturing standards

Skills

- Previous experience TIG welding thin stainless parts
- Excellent problem-solving and math skills with attention to detail
- Motivated to keep busy and learn current things
- Experience TIG welding aluminum, running a laser cutter, CNC brake press or machine shop equipment are all considered assets

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
