Brookes Westshore School Society is seeking an enthusiastic temporary teacher for the IB Middle Years Program. This full time role covers a 7-month contract, beginning September 1, 2026, and offers competitive salary based on qualifications. Candidates will develop engaging curriculum units, monitor student progress, and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver IB units integrated with BC Curriculum
• Communicate regularly with students and parents about progress
• Assign and evaluate classwork, tests,



and homework
• Participate in faculty and parent meetings as required
• Support extracurricular activities and lunch supervision

Requirements:
• Valid BC teaching certificate or in progress before September 2026
• Bachelor’s degree in education
• Experience teaching middle school and knowledge of IB
• Familiarity with BC Curriculum
• First Aid Level 1 or higher is an asset
