Join UBC as a part-time Graphic Designer for the Master of Food and Resource Economics program, where your creativity impacts marketing and recruitment strategies. Engage in diverse design tasks within a agile environment.
As part of the MFRE team, you will provide comprehensive graphic design services aimed at enhancing program visibility and attracting students. Collaborating with staff and the Academic Director, your projects will include creating visual elements for social media, print materials, and presentations. Your design skills will play a key role in communicating program highlights effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design graphics for LinkedIn posts aligned with branding
• Create visually appealing posters for events and recruitment
• Develop PowerPoint slide templates for various presentations
• Produce supplementary poster graphics for visibility initiatives
• Design layouts for newsletters, managing six publications annually
Requirements:
• Three-year Graphic Design diploma or equivalent experience
• At least two years in graphic design roles
• Adept in design software like Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Passion for fostering an inclusive environment
