The Health and Safety Advisor will report to the Director of Health, Safety, and Risk, working collaboratively to align YMCA operations with Alberta OHS standards. This role emphasizes hazard control, child safety, and volunteer training, ensuring the organization excels in safety management practices and incident response.

Key Responsibilities:
• Advise volunteers on safety measures and practices
• Support completion of audits and training sessions
• Lead investigations into safety incidents




• Assist the asset management team with safety compliance
• Conduct engaging health and safety training sessions

Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field
• Degree or certification related to Health, Safety, or Setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel between YMCA branches
• Current First Aid with CPR-C certification required
