Elevate your career with ALS as an Electronics Technician. This role requires proactive maintenance and adjustment of laboratory instruments, with necessary weekend work included.

Working within ALS’s Instrumentation Maintenance team, your focus will be on the maintenance, calibration, and repair tasks for various laboratory equipment. You'll utilize diagnostic manuals under supervision while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Your abilities in electrical and mechanical systems will be critical in supporting the assembly of advanced devices and equipment modifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostics and technical support for lab instruments
• Execute calibration and adjustment based on service manuals




• Facilitate repairs on cooling and gas supply systems
• Assist in modifications of developing devices
• Organize parts storage and maintain safety compliance

Requirements:
• 2 years’ experience in electronics technology
• High school diploma; post-secondary courses are a plus
• Skills in using measuring tools and small handheld instruments
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Solid written and verbal English communication
