Join Island Crisis Care Society as a Support Worker to provide compassionate, quality support for vulnerable adults, helping them thrive in their community. Play a crucial role in their journey toward greater independence.
This position requires a committed individual to assist in evaluating and implementing personal service plans. You'll help clients with life skills, alleviate emotional distress, and ensure they engage positively with their surroundings. It's a chance to embody ICCS’s mission to reflect love through caring actions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on assessments and program evaluations
• Offer training in essential daily living skills
• Address clients' social and behavioral challenges
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients’ needs
• Document residents' progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
• Relevant diploma in human/social services
• Minimum one year of applicable experience
• Certification in First Aid, CPR-C
• Naloxone Administration certification
• Explicit criminal background check for vulnerable persons
