Support student success at Kahkewistahaw First Nation as a Nutritionist Assistant, providing essential breakfast and lunch services for over 250 students at Chief Kahkewistahaw Community School.
This important position is supervised by the Principal and Assistant Principal. You will assist in menu planning, budgeting, and ensuring food safety while maintaining a clean kitchen setting. The Breakfast and Lunch Program runs during the school year and transitions into summer operations for effective inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily breakfast and lunch preparations
• Monitor budgeting and food inventory processes
• Maintain food safety practices and cleanliness
• Assist with menu planning and scheduling
• Prepare for summer kitchen operations and inventory
Requirements:
• Background in nutrition or culinary services
• Understanding of food safety standards
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff
