Position summary If you know anything about the construction business, then you know that getting the right products to the right site, on-time and safely, are the benchmarks of success. We’re looking for self-sufficient,
motivated Crane Operator for our PRINCE GEORGElocation at 2261 QUINN STREET,S. who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.
Job requirements Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Load and unload materials
Comply with company and government regulations and rules
Ensure load securement including the installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport
Match shipments to sales invoices
Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service
Operate truck safely
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act
Maintain clean equipment and monitor maintenance requirements
Qualifications Class 1 CDL with clean driver’s abstract
0-22 ton crane certification required
Preferably having at least 2 years of driving experience
Manual Transmission experience is an asset
Knowledge and competency in flat deck load securement
Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 75 lbs
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
