Fenstür Windows and Doors is looking for a dependable and hardworking person to join our Remanufacturing Department in Duncan, BC.

Our remanufacturing team turns lumber into high-quality engineered wood components that will become parts for custom windows and doors. The work includes cutting, grading, preparing, and gluing wood using a variety of woodworking machinery.

This is a hands-on position in a busy team environment. It can be physical and dusty, but it is also satisfying work where you can see the results of your efforts and take pride in helping create high-quality, locally manufactured products.

Responsibilities

- Cut and process lumber into engineered wood components
- Inspect and grade wood for quality and defects
- Sort and prepare material for production
- Glue and assemble wood components accurately
- Operate saws, planers, presses, and other woodworking equipment
- Follow cut lists, measurements, and production instructions
- Monitor quality throughout the manufacturing process
- Stack, organize, and move lumber and finished components
- Help keep the department clean, organized, and safe
- Work closely with the team to meet quality and production goals
- Assist in other production areas when required

Requirements
- Experience working with wood or lumber is preferred, but training can be provided
- Woodworking, sawmill, remanufacturing, or manufacturing experience is an asset




- Comfortable operating machinery and learning current equipment
- Able to accurately read a tape measure
- Physically capable of handling lumber and being active throughout the shift
- Good attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to contribute as part of a team
- Able to follow instructions and maintain consistent quality
- Positive attitude and a safety-conscious approach to work
