Woodworker / Furniture Maker The Knotty Lumber Co. manufactures custom furniture and finished cutting boards and supplies specialty hardwood lumber packs to customers across North America.

We are looking for a dependable, positive, and hardworking woodworker to join our team. Experience is valuable, but attitude, reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are most important.

Job Type: Full time, PermanentPay: $20.00–$22.00 per hourSchedule: Monday to FridayWork Location: In person

Responsibilities

- Build custom furniture and other hardwood products.
- Produce finished cutting and charcuterie boards.
- Assist with epoxy pours, filling, sanding, and finishing.
- Set up jobs and prepare materials for production.
- Mill lumber using jointers, planers, saws, routers, sanders, and other shop equipment.
- Select, sort, prepare, and package hardwood lumber packs.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
- Help the team meet production and shipping deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop.
- Assist with other production and shop duties as needed.

- Familiarity with woodworking machinery and power tools is an asset.
- Cutting-board, epoxy, sanding, or finishing experience is an asset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- A valid G driver’s licence is an asset.
