Upper James Toyota is looking for a Junior Service Advisor to join our Service team.

You’ll work alongside our experienced Service Advisors, learning all aspects of the role while helping us deliver an exceptional experience to every client.

What You’ll Do
As a Junior Service Advisor, you’ll be an important part of the day-to-day operation of our Service Department. Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming clients and helping coordinate their service visit from check-in through vehicle pickup

Assisting Service Advisors with vehicle walkarounds, including photos and videos

Responding to client calls, emails, texts and voicemails

Providing clients with timely updates on their vehicle

Coordinating transportation needs, including shuttle rides and rentals

Opening, preparing and closing repair orders in PBS

Communicating with technicians, Parts, Sales and our BDC to keep work moving efficiently

Reviewing completed work and declined services with clients





Processing payments and issuing receipts

Helping maintain a clean, organized and welcoming Service area

Completing assigned product, process and dealership training

What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be an experienced Service Advisor. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, solid people skills and a genuine interest in learning.

You should have:

Grade 12 education or equivalent

A valid Ontario G driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract

Strong communication and customer service skills

Good computer skills and comfort learning new systems

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

A positive, professional and team-oriented approach

The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. when required
