Join EHN Canada as a Mental Health Support Worker in Calgary, Alberta. This part-time role focuses on aiding youth in recovery through meal support and creative group activities.

At Sandstone Recovery Center, you’ll work closely with young people aged 12-24, ensuring they are supported in their healing journey. You will monitor patient activities, lead self-discovery and creativity groups, and be a vital resource during counselor off-hours. This role requires compassion and diligence in maintaining facility security and documenting patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor patient activities to ensure adherence to facility guidelines
• Conduct meal support sessions for patients in recovery




• Lead art and creativity groups to foster self-expression
• Deliver clinical-based support groups under supervision
• Ensure the safety and security of patients at all times

Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion or equivalent
• Training in eating disorders or addiction preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
• Transparent Criminal Records Check for vulnerable adults
• Valid government-issued photo ID
