As a Powerline Technician, you'll report to the Line Supervisor and be pivotal in maintaining overhead and underground power lines. This role is open to both Journeypersons and 2nd year apprentices, providing an opportunity to grow in a regulated local distribution company. You will be on-call to respond to emergencies and work with high voltage equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and maintain distribution power lines up to 27.6KV
• Work with live voltages using secure line tools




• Inspect electrical installations by contractors
• Execute minor tree trimming as needed
• Carry out switching instructions and apply for hold-off permits

Requirements:
• Powerline Technician Certificate or 2nd Year Apprentice
• Valid Ontario Class DZ or AZ-Restricted License
• Grade 12 Diploma
• Ability to read technical documents
• Physically fit for demanding work conditions
