We are seeking a Manual Press Operator to join our team.

This position will set up,operate, and maintain manual manufacturing press to shape, stamp, or form heavymaterials according to the blueprints. The job will be forming flat plates intohelical sectional auger flights for farm equipment.

The successful candidate willpossess strong mechanical aptitude, and a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities Auger Flight Forming:Set up dies and fixtures,press heavy steel plates into helical shapes, maintaining consistentpitch, diameter, according to blueprints.

Die Adjustment:Select, install, and aligncorrect dies sets for different auger flight sizes, pitches, anddirections.

Spring-Back Correction:Monitor materialbehavior during the pressing cycle and manually adjust for variances tomaintain accuracy.

Fit Testing:Check formed segments againstcentral pipe, shafts or jigs to ensure proper fit.

Quality Inspection:Inspect finished productsusing various tools and jigs to ensure tolerance.

Safety & Maintenance:Perform routine basicmaintenance, follow all company safety protocols,



and maintain a cleanworkstation.

Requirements Qualifications & SkillsRequired Experience:2+ years of experience operatingheavy-duty hydraulic press. (willing to train the right candidate).

Ability to workwithin a team and independently

Technical Aptitude:Strong understanding toaccurately handle 3D helical bending and read part drawings.

Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for extendedperiods, perform repetitive motions, and lift 50 lbs.

Attributes:Attention to detail, punctuality,and a cooperative team mindset.

Able to operate an overhead crane (Jaylor will trainand certify, experience is an asset)

Able to operate forklifts (Jaylor will train andcertify, experience is an asset)

Welding experience an asset.

Hours: Here at Jayloryou would be working a 4x10 shift, meaning you get a long weekend everyweekend.

Pay: $27.90 - 32.90 perhour (We offer competitive wages based on skill and experience)

Work Location: Thisrole requires you to work in person at our main location, located at 07121310th Line, Orton ON.Onsite parking is available for all employees.
