This position offers the chance to join The Salvation Army’s interdisciplinary care team as a Recreation Assistant. Your focus will be on assisting in the development and facilitation of recreation therapy services that foster social interaction and mental well-being. Adapting programs to suit various needs is key to ensuring residents receive attentive care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in creating and running recreational programs
• Document and analyze monthly program statistics
• Foster relationships with residents, families, and staff




• Maintain a protected environment for recreational activities
• Contribute insights on resident therapy needs

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Recreation Therapy or relevant experience
• Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
• Pass a Clear Criminal Record Check
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract
• Familiar with Microsoft Office tools
